2023 AGM Metting 5/12 Another reminder...MSDA's Annual General Meeting is being held on Saturday 9th December 2023 at 10am, venue 435 Maroondah Hwy Croydon North at Hughes Park. Nominations must be received prior to December 4th.

Rapid darts 21/11 New Rapid Premier League Competiton coming soon. A short 5 Week mini season between the main Premier League seasons. Open to all MSDA members. See Upcoming Events for more info.

Supporting another local sporting club. 18/11 At the Maroondah Seniors Movement Expo held back in May, A local indoor bowling club approached us, asking if we'd like to be a part of their open day. Ringwood Bowls Club are hosting a come and try day at their club, tomorrow 19/11/23. It would be great to see some of our members down there. More details on our 'upcoming events' page. We will also be there with a small darts display. Showing locals another sport, they could join.

2023 AGM Metting 12/11 MSDA's Annual General Meeting is being held on Saturday 9th December 2023 at 10am, venue 435 Maroondah Hwy Croydon North at Hughes Park. We will be following the AGM with the Christmas cup a Handicap event for MSDA members starting at the conclusion of the AGM around 11am. Nomination forms can be emailed out, just send us a message via the contact us page. Nominations must be received prior to December 4th.

This TNPL Season 28/8 This season due to the number of entries, divisions will run with 9 players. This will see some changes to the rule book. Including an altered payout. Players will be given more details by the contest director on 29/8 (The first night of play).

News 12/6 Our new club shirts are in. They are the same design as the last order. This was a small order. Those that said Yes to a shirt will get priority. There will be some spare shirts available. We will be considering a new design in the new year. So, start creating and be ready to submit your designs early next year.

Next MNL Season Next Monday Night League starts 24 July 2023. Signup sheet is on club noticeboard. Get your name down asap. Or contact Contest Director, Mike.

Movement Expo 2/5 Thank you to Mark, Tony, Aire and Renee for volunteering their time to attend a Seniors Movement Expo held by Maroondah Council. An Expo displaying the sports/activities seniors can do to keep moving. Darts was very popular. With all ages and abilities giving it a go. An additional thank you to Tony for providing a couple Lean2Pro's to display our sport and to Renee for providing promotional material. A local indoor bowling group approached us, asking if we'd like to organize a club day. A day where our members enjoy indoor bowls at their club and then a day where their members come for a day darts at our club. Given the success of the recent Golf day. This is something the committee will strongly consider.

News 20/4 We will be ordering new club shirts 1/5. If any members are interest, have not been down to the club recently, have not already given us a size. Then click across to he contact us page to place your order asap.

Update. 16/4 The committee are trying to finalize numbers/sizes for a new order of club shirts. Sizes are needed by Sunday 30/4.

Golf Day. 28/03 Our first Golf Day was a great success. The conditions were perfect. With 9 pairs on the day. An impressive nearest to the pin was won by Brett only approximately 37cm away! Brad took out longest drive, being one of the few to successfully land on the fairway. The overall winners were Tony&Ash with a smashing score of 64. Followed by Alex&Ben with 69. Players thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the club rooms to sit down, enjoy a drink and the lovely lunch donna had put on.... Click onto our gallery page to see some photos taken on the day.

Christmas break. 20/12 Wishing a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all members. The club will open again January 10th for some social games.

Xmas Cup. 3/12 Congratulations to all those that competed in our first Xmas Cup. A merry time was had by all. Tim Gatward took out the day. The first player to have his name engraved on our Xmas Cup shield. We look forward to seeing even more members next year.
